Before you start with your hazard perception test, you will be shown a video about how the test works. The video has 14 clips, featuring everyday road scenes and at least one developing hazard (one of the clips features 2 developing hazards). You will get points for spotting the developing hazards as soon as they begin to happen. You can score up to 5 points for each developing hazard. You will not lose any points if you click and get it wrong. You will only get only one attempt at each clip and cannot review or change your responses.
You will have multiple-choice questions in the theory test. These questions are based on The Highway Code, know your traffic signs and driving – the essential skills books. You can use the books to revise for your theory test and take your practice tests. You can take a practice test to check how much you have learnt. You can buy these books from most high street and online book stores.
Before starting your car driving test, you will be asked 2 vehicle safety questions, which are show me and tell me questions. For a show me question, you have to show the examiner how you would carry out a check. For a tell me question, you have to explain the examiner how you would carry out the check.
The car is a dual controlled Corsa SRI, 1.4 petrol engine which is fully air conditioned, is always kept immaculately clean and is a dream to drive. I also offer Pass Plus courses.
